[faces-dev] Moving Omnifaces-work-arrounds into JSF(-spec) and/or Mojarr

A colleague of mine just run into https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31382903/custom-tag-attributes-are-leaking-into-children including some emotions. ;-)

BalusC noted „This is not strictly a bug, but this is indeed unintuitive and undesired behavior which should have been addressed in the JSF/Facelets spec.“

 

This raises IMO (one more time?) the question which Omnifaces-workarounds should be moved into JSF. Should these things (still) be solved for (core-)JSF? (has maybe some backward-compatibilty-implications)

If yes: Is there someone who has time, knowledge and energy to do this?
