Hi Jonah,

I certainly understand the motivation about "visibility" for creating such an EPP package.

However, in this particular case I'd vote "no". Sorry. A standalone CDT Debugger is a project specific artifact and not an Eclipse IDE package. For the very same reason, the Eclipse Memory Analyzer distributed their own standalone app from within the project but not as an EPP package.

FWIW, there are other arguments against such a package. For example, more choice (more options) adds complexity to the process and may cause confusion among your users base (eg., "Wait, what? Is there no debugger in the IDE for C/C++ Developers?").
