You can find the list of options of the director app by simply doing -? at the end of the app.
Normally the arguments of the new app should be backward compatible with the old one.
This will be mostly solving the SDKProfile entry issue.

Yepp, the "new" p2 director application. This is a new one on my todo list, but when I tried it I got some weired exceptions and decided to use the deprecated p2 director application for the RC1 build. Okay, and I am a bad citizen because I didn't report any bugs so far.

- Is there a description of the new p2 director application somewhere? E.g. a wiki page that describes the parameters etc.?
- Are there any known differences to the old one? I've seen that the SDK profile is still there but would that be solved by using the new application?

And, eh, Pascal, did you switch to the Mac OSX users? ;-) Thanks for the testing!

I have tried the JEE package on the mac and it looks fine. I have been able to use it and install some more stuffs using p2.
A few things that I have noticed:
- the progress bar and the progress reporting is not the typical eclipse one
- the about dialog is missing hte image and the text
- the p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.engine/profileRegistry/ folder contains two profiles SDKProfile and epp.profile.jee.profile. We should try to get rid of the SDKProfile entry by using the new director application.

a new build for EPP Galileo RC1 is ready to test:

If necessary I will rebuild *all* packages tomorrow (Friday) morning which means that there would be another test-cycle including sign-offs.

As far as I can see, most problems have been resolved: The build is based on a repository created by Buckminster, the build has been started with Hudson, errors in the logfiles have been fixed, and the Mac OSX problem with p2 should be solved, too. I hope that someone can test the Mac OSX packages and can confirm that this is really solved!

Other Action Items:

1. Gabe to get Markus and Thomas access to Hudson so they can use Hudson for building the packages
2. Markus and Thomas to work out issues with automated build.  If not resolve by tomorrow morning, then the manual build process will be used for RC1
