Nominate Tracy Miranda to join the Eclipse
Architecture CouncilSent by:

Tracy Miranda is well known within the Eclipse community.
She is a long time contributor to Eclipse projects, having participated
in the community since at least 2003. I've been able to find patches to
the CDT from her from as far back as 2005 (e.g. [1]). Tracy is active in
the Science Working Group Steering Committee, and is a committer on the
Eclipse January Project.Tracy is a core member of the Eclipse Foundation's Diversity
efforts. She plays a large role in evangelizing open source and Eclipse
to groups that are traditionally under represented. She is a regular speaker
at various EclipseCons on a variety of topics (e.g. technology, diversity,
UX) and regular speaker at numerous other conferences where she represents
and evangelizes Eclipse project and community interests.
Tracy is the Programme Committee Chair for EclipseCon France
2017. She is also a nominee for sustaining member representative on the
Eclipse Board of Directors.
I believe that Tracy will be a valuable addition to the
Eclipse Architecture Council. Please join me in supporting Tracy's appointment.
Thanks,
Wayne
