I made some comments on the bug. I believe that an email to the Planning Council with a statement that indicates that the project is following the rules for participating in the simultaneous release and some level of confidence that they're not going to break anything should do the job. I recommend getting the project team to craft the message. I can help. I've sent a private note to David Williams, the Planning Council Chair to introduce you. He should respond with some pointers.
