Peter joined the Eclipse eCAL Team at Continental in January 2024. He is a Continental Employee and is currently being ramped up locally in Frankfurt. One of his tasks will be to help / replace me (Florian) with managing eCAL releases on GitHub, Launchpad PPA and Eclipse (i.e. all public eCAL Releases).

thanks for the committer proposal for Peter.

As the committer proposal contains not that much information, I would like to ask you to provide more information in this mail chat, especially on the Automotive PMC mailing list.

Could you please provide some links to:
- GitHub / Gitlab account
- contributions (e.g. Pull Requests, reviews, improvements of documentation ...) in GitHub / GitLab within the Eclipse environment
- activities in the projects (e.g., active participation on the project dev mailing list or other Eclipse mailing lists)

That would be great and helps the PMC to understand what Peter has done in eCAL and be convinced that he has gained the trust of the project by understanding and living the EF development and IP processes.
