One remark: Shouldn’t this vote take place on the dataspace-wg-spec@xxxxxxxxxxx mailing list as for the other ballots? As I understood it, the ballots should be open to the public.

Dear Dataspace Spec Committee,
Your vote is required to approve the creation of the "Eclipse Conformity Assessment Policy and Credential Profile" Specification Project with the following scope:
The Eclipse Conformity Assessment Policy and Credential Profile defines a specification for expressing and verifying policies through verifiable credentials and conformity assessment vocabularies (ISO/IEC 17000:2020).

Per the Eclipse Foundation Specification Process, this will be a seven day ballot, ending on June 3rd that requires a super-majority positive vote of the Dataspace specification committee members (note that there is no veto). Community input is welcome, but only votes cast by specification committee representatives will be counted.
Specification committee representatives, your vote is hereby requested. Please respond with +1 (positive), +0 (abstain), or -1 (reject). Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated.
