Current status
1. Validation of ERs
· There are 15 ERs, 13 for validation – 5 CA and 8 others.
· Out of the 5 CA ERs, 3 had Junits, 1 had a test aid and 1 depends on e2e. QA has executed all of the above – 1 Junit (212187) had errors and test aid (200275) didn’t work. QA is waiting on the next candidate build with fixes.
· Out of the 8 other ERs, 5 don’t have any test aid (209227 (Mark), 209224 (Hubert), 209226 (Sheldon / Hubert), 209223 (Sheldon / Hubert), 208603 (Sheldon / Hubert)). Owners had been reminded on ‘cosmosdev’ 3 times now. 1 test aid didn’t work (209331) and the ER has been updated with QA comment. QA has executed the 2 available Junits.
2. E2e testing brought up couple of issues – 3 bugs were filed by QA and some others by Engineering. 2 were duplicates of what we have logged.
QA needs better inputs on COSMOS UI. QA has mailed ‘cosmosdev’ about lack of information.
3. QA will run all Junits (regression) on Windows and Linux tomorrow.
Estimate
QA will need 2-3 days to complete e2e testing on 3 platforms and validating all Junits and test aids (if available) on 2 platforms after the next / last candidate build. Our time to complete this i8 testing will depend on the availability of
- all fixes on the next candidate build
- all test aids on the ERs
QA may have to extend testing on i8 candidate build and the completion date is dependent on the availability of the build with the fixes and the test aids.
