[cosmos-dev] SNMP interoperability

The IETF MIB2RMDL project is working on standards to facilitate
interoperability between SNMP MIBs and XML. This includes both a
standard mapping of MIBs to XML formats and an XML gateway service which
would facilitate the project of building a runtime bridge between SNMP
and WSDM infrastructure.
Bob Natale has offered to join us on a conference call in January to
discuss project status. I would like to solicit community feedback
regarding the priority and timing of our commitment to support SNMP data
collection and the synergies that we might achieve by of working with
the MIB2RMDL project.
