We seem to be ok to talk about things in the abstract, but when a concrete example appears such as MicroProfile Config/Jakarta Config, it's flagged up as inappropriate. It makes me question the value of the having any abstract technical discussions.
I think there's value in having abstract and concrete technical discussions, but I think we could benefit from shifting to email for a period.
