Re: [chemclipse-dev] What's the differences of these Views of Scan?

Yep, the basic principle is that each view shall be focused on a simple task.

Scan (Transition) shows the data in TripleQuad modus, e.g.: 192 > 104 @15
Scan (Nominal) show the scan in nominal modus, e.g.: 104
Pinned Scan (Nominal) lets you pin a selected scan and compare it to another scan
Pinned Scan Edit (Nominal) lets you optimize and identify a selected scan easily

You're right, it would be also a way to combine these functionalities in a single view. It could think of creating such a combined view as part of the "Unified Chromatograms" perspective. Feel free to create such a combined view.

There's currently a list for peaks. If you'd like to create a respective list for all scans of the selection, feel to add such a list. Have a look at the list implementation. A virtual may be required as a chromatogram could contain thousands of scans which could result in performance problems to display the list.

Philip

There are some Views of Scan, such as:
Scan(Transition)
Scan(Nominal)
Pinned Scan(Nominal)
Pinned Scan Edit(Nominal)
What purposes are they create for? What difference do they have?

How about create toggled buttons in the Scan View's toolbar to change the mode of view?  I believe it would great cut down the number of views of OpenChrom.

BTW:
It seems that there is not a Scan List View for listing scans one by one.

Best regards,

Trig
