Re: [chemclipse-dev] Switching perspectives

Hi folks,

Alex, thanks for the screencast. I assume that the following has happened:

The ChromIdent perspective doesn't have an "area" reference, which is used by other perspectives to display the chromatograms. Hence, the chromatogram are opened in the last "Part Stack" of the opened perspective. But this part stack isn't available in other perspectives. Hence, chromatograms are not displayed. Since e4, there's no differentiation between editors and views anymore. Everything is a part.

Please try the same, open another perspective and have a look at the "Select View" wizard. The opened shall be displayed in the list.

Hence, each perspective shall include a reference to the editor area.

Best
Philip

Hi Matthias,

also WSD chromatograms shall be displayed in different perspectives, even under MSD. They are listed under org.eclipse.ui.editorss which is the same for all perspectives.

Please report any strange behaviour so that we can try to reproduce and fix it.

Best
Philip
