RE: [cdt-dev] Managed Build Kick-off Meeting Details

Essentially, what I'd like to see discussed is any open issues with
Intel's proposal for Managed Build,
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=68232. Does it or can it be
tweaked to meet everyone's needs, both enterprise and embedded/cross
development? How does it play with the other proposals out there like
MontaVista's target model,
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=65471. Does it solve
everyone's issues with the current managed build?

If we can reach consensus that this is the direction we want to go, then
we should start putting together an action plan for getting this proposal
implemented. If we can't reach consensus, then we should at least put a
plan together where we continue studying the blockers and work towards
coming up with alternatives.

How does that sound with everyone?

Is there an agenda for this meeting? It'd be nice to know what issues to
bring to the table.

Thanks,
Brad

Hi All,
As I said last week, the first meeting of the managed build working group
will take place at 10:30 EDT on Tuesday, July 27.

Just to let everyone know how to dial in:
Local dial-in number: 613-787-5018
Toll-free Dial-in number: 1 866-842-3549

According to our conferencing service, that's all you have to do. I can
host up to 20 lines so it would be great if, at sites where there is more
than 1 participant, you could use 1 line.
