BIRT 2.1.1 Planning
BIRT 2.1.1 continues to be tentatively planned for a September 28, 2006 release. This will be a coordinated release with a number of other Eclipse projects.
BIRT 2.1.1 is a maintenance release only, and the development team is already working on bugs that will be addressed in this release. For a list of the bugs that are already addressed in, and are scheduled for, this release, refer to Bugzilla.
No change from last week. Team continues to work on assigned bugs in Bugzilla.
BIRT 2.2/3.0 Planning
The next BIRT major release will be BIRT 2.2 or 3.0 -- with the final feature set determining the release designation.
No change in status here from last week.
EclipseCon 2007 Planning
Scott has begun working with the rest of EclipseCon 2007 planning team and is looking at how to structure the BIRT related talks.

Eclipse Summit Europe on October 11-12, 2006 - Esslingen, Germany - http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2006/ - One talk on the BIRT project.
EclipseCon 2007 on March 5-8, 2007 - Santa Clara, CA - http://www.eclipsecon.org/2007/ - TBD (5 long sessions, 6 short sessions, 1 demo/panel and 3 tutorials allocated to BIRT).
