I hope to have code usable by others in about two to three months. You can monitor our developments in the git repository of FORTE.

 

Furthermore I will present this work at the "IoT Kongress" and "Industrie 4.0 Summit" here in Munich in September and Oktober. If you are by any chance there I'm looking forward to meet you there.

 

Also next week is the 4diac users' workshop in Berlin where several OPC UA activities with 4diac will be presented.

Very interesting. What is the time line for the OPC UA Server.

 

Background: The Sercos International e.V. organisation released together with OPC Foundation the companion specification for Sercos on OPC UA. With the implementation of a generic Sercos Name space provider inside the control (e.g. the Bosch Rexroth IndraMotion MLC/MTX) the full range of Sercos devices can be browsed by any OPC UA Client without a single line of code.
