Any objections in future to moving from "everyone must sign the wiki" to "we'll assume the release is fine unless you put a big X on the wiki or reply to the smoke test email w/ report of problems" ?

Figure the onus is still on leads to test, but then we don't have to wait for signoffs. 

We'll assume the build is innocent until proven guilty, rather than a criminal until acquitted by smoke test (like a witch trial?).

WDYT? Simpler process, less overhead, more agile?
