Re: [wtp-releng] [WTPBUILD: wtp-R3.3.0-I] wtp-R3.3.0-I Build Failed

Here’s an update on JSF (pagedesigner) suite failures, following a day’s investigation.

Bug 328783 - [JUnit] jst.pagedesigner tests failing (both suites):

This bug tracks the specific test suite failure issue. It is blocked by the following (non-JSF-specific) issue.

Bug 328785 - Tag library functionality is broken:

This bug blocks the ability of the JSF Tools test suites to create multiple projects and use varied functionality dependent on tag library functionality (WPE rendering, WPE palette, tag drop creation, etc).

I’ve marked Bug 328785 as a blocker – essentially, only the first Dynamic Web Project in a workbench session to use tag libraries in any way can be guaranteed to be successful; all subsequent projects are open to failures of many kinds, wherever there is a dependence on tag library-related functionality. See the bug for simple reproduction steps.

We are working on the jpt failure and should have a fix released early tomorrow.
