Re: [wtp-releng] WTP 2.0 RC2 Build Status and Shutdown
|
Larry,
Thanks for the patch
I released the patch. The previous set of changes included patches
(facets+libs) for two bugs.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=188755 (facets)
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=189954 (jsf jars)
Both were PMC approved.
John,
I believe this is due to a typo in jboss42.serverdef, I've attached a
patch to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=188755 that
should fix it. However, I can't tell for sure if the changes to
jboss42.serverdef were intentional, since they weren't part of the
proposed patch. A question was raised in the bug regarding the changes.
Cheers,
Larry

Looks like we will be respinning for a JPA fix, some JSF Junit
fixes, and some J2EE fixes (pending approval).
Also, in the latest build a WSI JUnit failed and a generic server
JUnit failed. Thoughts? Comments? Are these real errors or a
fluke?

Re: [wtp-releng] WTP 2.0 RC2 Build Status and Shutdown
John,
We have one bug that was targeted for RC2 that we now have a patch
for - _https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=190280_.
Assuming PMC approval, we will need to do a respin for this later
this morning.

Ok, I admit it. I had a small oopsie this morning. I deleted the
latest 2.0 RC2 build. :-) So, long story short, there is a build
going on right now, which I will propose be our RC2 candidate.
Does anyone know of any bugs they need to have resolved for RC2?
We only have one bug which is in PMC approved and not released:
_
__https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=188161_ owned by
David and related to JEM. Do we need to respin for this?
The 6 JSF tests continue to fail. Any plan here for RC2?
If anyone else has a need to respin, please get your bug approved
by PMC ASAP and send a note to wtp-releng detailing why the
respin. We will declare our RC2 tommorrow and then work on
updating the Europa RC2 site. This is also a good time to do some
europa level testing and to triage the remaining 50 bugs targeted
for RC2 to RC3 or to a future release. Remeber, the criteria for
candidates continues to grow more stringent for RC3 and 2 PMC
member votes will be required. I will create a RC2 shutdown wiki
page where teams can report their testing status. If you have no
need to resmoke, just mark that in the comments.
Thanks,
