I don't know all the details but this
effort seems to be within the scope of WST. Is there a specific reason
for creating a new subcomponent? Is this an incubating subcomponent that
will eventually be merged into WST?

As we discussed in the PMC meeting, the ATF team would like to create a
new sub-component of WTP for the _javascript_ Development Tooling effort.

The package name for the component will be org.eclipse.jsdt
