[wtp-incubator-dev] Meeting Minutes: Vex Committer Call 2010-06-29

Hello Guys!
Here are meeting minutes from our Vex Committer Call on 2010-06-29,
20:00 CEST.
Participants:
- Dave Carver
- Florian Thienel
- Holger Voormann
1. Releasing Vex
To graduate Vex to a 1.0 release we should sync with the WTP 3.3 release
process. This means:
- a new milestone every six weeks
- definition of the coming milestone assigning issue to it in bugzilla
- having a big picture of the following milestones in form of a roadmap
The next actions:
- outline a plan for 1.0M1 on the DRAFT wiki page
- increase all version numbers to 1.0 (plugins, features and pom-files)
- set a date for 1.0M1
The goal should be a release of Vex 1.0 in April or May 2011. The big
missing features are
- display of images
- an overview of the supported subset of CSS (-> documentation)
- creating and editing of tables
2. Documentation
The documentation of Vex will be edited in WikiText. We decided to start
the documentation from scratch.
3. Next Meeting
The next conference call will be held on 2010-07-13, 20:00 CEST.
