You may want to take a look at these forum topics:

They describe what you need to do to have swing application running in Virgo.
The problem may also be caused by missing dependencies/imports so its worth checking the state of the bundles.
It would be great if you create a forum topic so that others can help as well?

I can provide more detail about the manifest etc. My dev env is on Windows 7.
I would appreciate help with this.
