Thank you for the heads up, but that was Don's reply.
Anyway, I understand that Microsoft gave up on the IPsec development before the transition to Eclipse and there are no plans to add IPsec to NetX Duo anytime soon. Thank you for letting us know.
I think you misinterpreted Bill’s response. IPSec never actually was a supported feature of Azure RTOS. No change as part of the transition to Eclipse ThreadX.

This is concerning to me.
Why did the IPsec code not become part of Eclipse ThreadX? What other parts of Azure did not become part of Eclipse ThreadX? Is Microsoft going to continue selling/distributing Azure
with those features?

Hi Victor,
Unfortunately, Microsoft did not carry forward the IPsec feature and it is not part of the Eclipse ThreadX repo. However,
I do see that it is still shown on the NetX Duo block diagram, which will need to be updated.
Sorry again for the confusion…
Best regards,
Bill
Hello ThreadX team, thank you for the great work.
If you have any information on the status of the IPsec feature, could you share it with us? Please also let us know if IPsec is not on the
roadmap at the moment.
Thank you,
Victor B. Gomes
Hello ThreadX developers.
I'm currently researching VPN client options for microcontrollers. NetX Duo lists IPsec as one of its features, and IPsec/IKEv2 would be
a perfect fit for my use case.
However, defining the `NX_IPSEC_ENABLE` results in compilation errors because the `nx_ipsec` files are missing from the source tree. An
issue from 2021 reports this same problem: https://github.com/eclipse-threadx/netxduo/issues/58
Is there any update on the status of IPsec? Is it not ready, or perhaps it wasn't open sourced?
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Victor B. Gomes
