A committer election for Ed Merks on project Eclipse Packaging Project™ (technology.packaging) was started by Jonah Graham with this criteria: Ed has had a long relationship with the Eclipse Packaging Project™ providing commits and much feedback, reviews and other work to make the packages the best possible. Ed also runs the SimRel, Oomph and JustJ releng work. SimRel and JustJ are two of the primary inputs to EPP and Oomph is one of the primary consumers of EPP. Ed also handled the releng tasks for EPP during 2023-03 M1. To streamline further work in this area I think it would be beneficial for Ed to become a committer in the EPP project.
