Dear PMC,
I am one of the two project leads for the Eclipse SW360 project
yesterday I have submitted two proposals for committer election: one for Albert He from SAP and one for Kouki Hama from TOSHIBA. The Albert He proposal has resulted in the start of the
committer election period.
However, the second for Kouki Hama has not. I am not sure if that is all right, but when reviewing, I noticed the small print at the bottom of the submission form page asking URLs. I
think I did provide URLs in the past, but in this case I forgot unfortunately. In case that would be helpful, I have a revised text version for the proposal for committer election below.
Kind regards,
Michael
Dear SW360 Community,
please allow me to propose Kouki Hama as committer for the SW360 project. He is affiliated with TOSHIBA and did a number of relevant contributions. Most notably he actively supports
the SW360 in the Japan area, for example contributing the Japanese translation for the Web interface (https://github.com/eclipse/sw360/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed+author%3AKoukiHama+). This includes also the contribution with his colleagues, to make SW360
capable of more translations, for example also in Vietnamese (https://github.com/eclipse/sw360/pulls?q=is%3Apr+author%3Anam-np).
Moreover, he contributed bug fixes to the code and attends our weekly telcos on a regular basis. There are more colleagues at TOSHIBA, having made very relevant contributions to the
SW360 (e.g. https://github.com/sw360/sw360slides) and Kouki Hama has volunteered to serve as a point of contact for their activities. Committer rights will enable Kouki Hama to work on the Github space of SW360 including the project wiki. Please, do not hesitate
to contact me in case of questions.
Kind regards,
Michael
