when Metrics 1.0 was attempting to become real. He was already
participating on the Metrics team, but he took a more active leadership
role in Heiko's absence. He helped ensure that the weekly hangouts
continued to occur. He helped ensure the proper commits (24 at last count)
were performed to create the 1.0 release (I know first hand since he bugged
me day and night to review and approve the commits).
