Hey folks. I've been thinking a little lately about the recent committer 
nomination that I vetoed. Frankly, I think that we handled it well.

Next time a committer election needs our approval, consider reviewing 
the guidelines [1], just to make sure we get it right.

FWIW, when you notice problems in these wiki-based documents, fix 'em 
(I've found and fixed a few cosmetic problems).
