Hi,
Please, find below a description of a problem that find each time I run simulations.
It is related to the CACC car following model.
Problem description:
In SUMO simulations, I have a case where a car is stand still on a motorway with the purpose to provoke collisions.
Peculiarly, A huge number of collisions emerges for the
CACC model, while I have no collisions for the ACC model within the exact same conditions.
I have a minimal number of parameters for the CACC or ACC model. I’m not using traci to initiate a TOR
There is also no difference whether the parameter “has.toc.device” is set to True or False for different simulations.
Do anyone knows why there is a huge difference?
Here, you find the number of collisions when using the
CACC model for CAVs and CVs

Here, you find the number of collisions when using the
ACC model for CAVs and CVs, keeping everything the same except for the driver model
