My name is nupur mittal. I am doing masters in computer science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science pilani, hyderabad campus, India.
I am interested in the project "JavaFX based Diagram Editor" for Gsoc, 2014 for two reasons. First, I am genuinely excited by the goal of the project : prototyping a generic diagram editor only using JavaFx, Eclipse modelling framework and serius. Secondly, I have a good exposure of Java as i have done few projects in it before.
My area of interest is to explore java as much as possible. Any project needs the passion and perseverance of its participants to succeed. I see myself as a great match for the project. I am a curious, persistent and dependable person who is eager to broaden her horizons and devote a reasonable amount of time to the work. I am optimistic that the project will benefit from my contributions as much as I will benefit from the project.
I have a little knowledge about EMF, would you provide some reference to have more in-depth details about it ? and I would like to know more about the project. Would you help me in having more idea about the project?
