As XACC continues to grow, Zach will specifically be critical in the development of new Accelerator implementations that target remote process invocation protocols like ZeroMQ. This will enable tighter integration with the new locally-hosted access
models coming out of Rigetti. Additionally, he will be critical in the extension of his existing quantum benchmarking work to other algorithms like quantum machine learning, quantum computing for nuclear physics, and quantum field theory simulations. He will
also take over as the maintainer of the work he has previously contributed.

Excellent question. Zach has proven over the past few months to be a key contributor to the XACC project. His background and degrees in both Computer Science and Chemistry has been critical to the development of a quantum benchmarking software suite built into
XACC. He has leveraged this work to run benchmarks on the IBM quantum computer for chemistry applications. His addition as a committer will improve our team and facilitate the addition of his current and future XACC development efforts.

Model IR bug fixes, enhancements to the CMake build system for automatic code
formatting, and Doxygen documentation generation. Zach has contributed PRs,
73, 71, 67, 60, 59, and 50.
