ahhh found something out:

in the header there's not only a gradient - its a background image
works great (any hints about prefered sizes ?)

logo with transparent colors works great together with background image

I tried also without any logo - only background image -
then a Riena logo comes up.
is it possible to use it only with background image and without a logo ?
