[rest-dev] Pertinent information from Jakarta Platform call

Hi,
I mentioned previously that I would update this group with information from the Jakarta Platform call that pertains to RESTful Web Services.   I was not able to attend today's call but have gathered the following information from other attendees and the weekly agenda minutes.Currently Jakarta Rest-4.0 is included in Wave 5 of the release.  See the Jakarta EE 11 Release PlanSchedule for Wave 5 items:

• Milestone 1: (2023-11-28)

• First pass on APIs and Specification
• Status: In staging (very rough version). 
• Needs to be moved to Maven Central

• Milestone 2: (2024-01-30)

• Updates to APIs/Dependencies, Specification, TCK, examples
• Moved to staging for review and eventual placement on Maven Central

• Milestone 3: (2024-02-29 or earlier)

• API done
• TCK done
• Spec complete
• At least one Compatible implementation done
• Moved to Staging for review and eventual placement on Maven Central
• Ready for Release Review

Comments/suggestions on this plan and its feasibility should be brought to the Platform Call meeting.   I am willing to relay feedback within the meeting as well if needed.   Thanks
