The UML 2.5 spec defines diagrams frames (the box around
the diagram) and headings (the little box or "cartridge"
that contains the name of the diagram) as optional. See
wording in diagram definitions ("can be included" rather
than "must be included") and in Annex A (page 716).
However, I believe that they are required for SysML and
there is already a bugzilla entry ( 354296)
for that.
I would also like that diagram headers in UML, not just SysML.
For me, it is very hard to distinguish the diagrams just by the
little symbol in the tab, and I tend to do, what the diagram header
should already .. I name the diagram like cmp_Xxx, cls_Xxx, sd_Xxx
If it is already done for an SD, why not for any other diagram?
Shouldn't that be an "inherited" canvas feature?
