Hi,
During EclipseCon France held in Toulouse on the 17th-18th of June, some of us have shared an idea.
We imagine to have a “simple” UML modeler based on a customization of Papyrus 1.0 (the Luna release)
Papyrus 1.0 has evolved a lot and offer a large set of feature for customization.
The goal of such a package will be to:
1. Fully describe and comment how to build a customized tool based on Papyrus
2. Shared a dedicated tests suite on such a customization.
3. Have a basic UML modeler in order to train Student or new comer on UML language,
In the first release, we could imagine having a limited subset of diagrams in order to have a “short term” schedule.
This could be a part of Polarsys Packaging Project (3P), as a dedicated package for UML modelling.
What do you think of such a proposition ?
