Re: [photran] Debugging with gfortran and libc.so.6
|
Hello Michel,
Thank you for the hint, it led to the solution. The problem was resolved by installing two packages:
glibc-profile
glibc-profile-32bit
Simple solution, just hard to find from the error message. I hope this helps the next person googling the problem.
Regards,
Charles

Hi Charles,
I also use photran and opensuse 11.2 (x64) and it seems to me that I
had a similar problem some time ago (but I do not think I have it any
more, so there is hope ! ;) ).
You might go in YAST and see in the list of files of the glibc and
possibly glibc-32bit packages, that these libraries (libc.so.6 and
libc-2.10.1) are included. However, the paths are not the same, so that
these paths may result from (possibly wrong) symbolic links.
=> I would advise you to check each element of theses paths to see
whether there is not a wrong symbolic link along the way.
Which version of eclipse/photran are you using ?
