Photran 6.0 is scheduled for release on June 23 alongside Eclipse 3.6,
CDT 7.0, and PTP 4.0. We would like to encourage you to try out
Photran 6.0 Release Candidate 2, which is available today. It is quite
easy to install; see below. This is *not* the final release, so please
report any bugs using the "Report a Bug" link on the Photran Web site
and ask any questions on the photran mailing list... we still have a
couple of weeks to fix any outstanding problems before the final
release in June (RC3 will be next week, and RC4 the following week).

INSTALLATION:
- Download the Eclipse 3.6RC2 SDK from here:
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/S-3.6RC2-201005201744/
(it should be named eclipse-SDK-3.6RC2-win32.zip or something similar)
- Unzip it (or untar it). This will create a folder called
"eclipse." In that folder, run Eclipse by...
- (Windows) double-clicking on eclipse.exe
- (Linux) running the binary named "eclipse" (e.g., by typing
./eclipse at a shell prompt)
- (Mac OS X) double-clicking on Eclipse.app
- Click Help > Install New Software.
- In the "Work with:" dropdown, choose "Helios."
- In the list of software, expand Programming Languages, and check
Photran End-User Runtime.
- Click Next, click Next again, agree to the license agreement(s),
and click Finish.
