If you start a Cygwin prompt (Cygwin Bash Shell or whatever it's called), try the three commands below (the part after the $ prompt) and make sure you get the same output I do: joverbey$ gcc gcc: no input files joverbey$ gfortran gfortran: no input files joverbey$ make make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.
