Thanks Bran,
OK. Let’s see what Sébastien says.
There are a few aspects to address, especially in an open source context for this document and other related to the documentation of UML-RT for a Papyrus implementation into Papyrus-RT:
- Who owns the copyright for that document (I believe that this is typically, the author, but Bran’s mail seem to indicate CEA)
- What license should be attributed to it (I would think EPL, Creative Commons, or copyleft)
- Who is “owns” its maintenance (This is where Zeligsoft would play a role)
- What governance do we put around it (to ensure consistency and correctness)
- What format are we using for the “source” (I would assume Microsoft Word for now - as discussed in a previous thread)
I could suggest that this be handled by the Papyrus Industry Consortium’s Product Management Committee, but I think this is too low-level, product-specific and not cross-cutting enough to be handled at that level.
Thoughts? Comments?
Regards,
Charles Rivet Senior Product Manager, Papyrus-RT product leader
