Hi once again,
Regarding the redefinition icon, I was wondering if we need to make some further alignment with legacy models. In the legacy tooling, states consistenty shows their element icon, and thus the redefinition icon is shown as an annotation on the state icon (making it consistent with the model explorer):
Currently states are missing the element icon in Papyrus-RT, even though the the option "Element icon" on the Apperance tab is checked. So there seem to be some fundamental problem where the element icon is not even shown, even if this option is enabled. Earlier we have reasoned that we should try to align things like this to not affect the layout of imported legacy diagrams.
Currently the redefinition icon looks like this in Papyrus-RT, placed in the upper right corner:
Also on the inside of the composite state, this looks rather differently since the legacy tooling have the element icon there as well like this:
Currently in Papyrus-RT:
The inside maybe is not worth the effort of aligning. But the fact that the element icon is missing on the state on the "outside", even though the element icon preference is enabled on the Appearance tab maybe should be looked into. Especially considering the difference we will get in difference in layout when importing legacy models.
