Hi Gael,

I’m not aware of the full context of this Quotation, but in my humble technical point of view,

it would be very nice to realize these points while moving to maven/Tycho:

-        activate Gerrit in the project (very, very useful to review contribution)

-        run automatic tests on Gerrit patches

-        moving from Hudson to Jenkins (maybe automatically done by the foundation?)

-        provide a nightly update site (a simple @midnight job in Jenkins)

Regards,

Benoit MAGGI

Objet : [papyrus-ic] Request for Quotation for update of Eclipse UML2 to integrate it in 2018 Eclipse release train

The Papyrus Industry Consortium is seeking quotations for work as outlined below from its members.

Context

In order to be included in the Eclipse release train in 2018, the Eclipse UML2 project needs some evolutions to follow the changes of other Eclipse Modelling projects like Eclipse EMF. Also, the UML2 build system needs to evolve to follow more recent Eclipse build infrastructure.

Deliverable:

The deliverable shall consist of:

* The required evolutions to UML2 project

* Moving the UML2 build system to Maven/Tycho or another supported option

* Integrating new contributors in the project

More context for the enhancements is available in the attached document.

Please send your offers to gael.blondelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx latest by November 17th, 2017. The offer shall list the cost of the study, excluding VAT. It should also provide information of the timeframe in which the study can be delivered.

All proposals will be collected and provided to the Papyrus IC Steering Committee for decision. Competitive information will be disclosed only to the User Members of the SC. Once the decision has been made, the Eclipse Foundation will reward the chosen organization with a contract to execute the work.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
