It uses OpenSSL.
Hi, enabling TLS support requires
having access to the OpenSSL libraries I guess, or has a full
self enclosed TLS library ported in Paho? Sorry for asking I
can't check the code right now.

Hello,
I took the liberty of transferring your question to the Paho
mailing list.
The Paho C library has supported TLS for a while now, and the
C++ library has added support with the upcoming release. Build
the libraries with the SSL option enabled.
