Re: [osgi-wg] Implementations of R8 chap 151
|
Hi Scott,
Maybe you look for that:
https://github.com/osgi/jakartarest-osgi?tab=readme-ov-file#gradle-bnd-library-support
?
We have bnd-library support, that brings all necessary dependencies and
also a project library with some bnd project templates.
This is the one with Jetty:
https://github.com/osgi/jakartarest-osgi/tree/main/org.eclipse.osgitech.rest.bnd.project.library/src/main/resources/templates/rest-with-config
If you plan to go for Servlet 6 support, I suggest to take the newest
Felix Jetty together with the Servlet Whiteboard example. This is what
we use.

Hi Mark,
Are there any public example apps and/or tutorials using the Jetty
connector for osgi-technology? Particularly with bndtools?

Hi Scott,
mostly yes, its the Gecko code base. But we already fixed some issues
in the osgi-technology project that are not backported to Gecko. I
assume that we will change the default implementation of the TCK to
the osgi-technology version, when a new compendium will be released.

Hi,
So I assume that org eclipse.osgitech is the new package name for
what was org.gecko.*?

Hi Scott,
this is the library list used for the TCK of the specification:
https://github.com/osgi/osgi/blob/main/cnf/repo/org.osgi.impl.service.jakartars/org.osgi.impl.service.jakartars-8.1.0.lib
this leads us to
https://github.com/geckoprojects-org/org.gecko.jaxrs.whiteboard

jakarta rest web services (chap 151 from R8 spec) [1]?
Thanksinadvance,
