I think as we have more developers using Orion as it becomes both more stable and feature complete we have to ensure that there's good documentation around delta's in releases that might leave a user in an incomplete or unworkable state. We need to produce and/or publish on the mailing list any documentation to help people out of these situations as we find them in our day-to-day development. In the web world when your platform is changing underneath you it's imperative we communicate changes on OrionHub.
This might be a good thing to include in the landing page changes that need to be done for M2. I'll add this suggestion to the bug.
