[orbit-dev] [Fwd: Re: Orbit bug fix]

Folks,
On behalf of ECF and due to the very recent Orbit project bug fix we
request promotion of a N-build to an I-build as quickly as possible.
See below for more details.

The orbit "nightlies" are just our "continuous integration" builds at
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/orbit/committers/
If you want one of those promoted to
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/orbit/downloads/
that's fine with me (and probably best) ... technically, I'd like you to
post to orbit-dev,
since that's the public way of keeping everyone informed.
Thanks for letting me know,

Subject: Orbit bug fix
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi David,
This bug in Orbit project jSLP was just fixed Sun afternoon (5/11):
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=229922
This bug prevents our SLP provider from starting/working properly.
We would like to update ECF's Ganymede M7 contribution with a new
version of this bundle (we are only consumers that I know), so that some
consumers that have registered interest in SLP provider can/could test
it out.
I can/will create an ECF M7a as soon as the Orbit build is
ready...except for this fix to the jSLP Orbit bundle there are no ECF
changes.
Could a new Orbit I-build be done to support this? Or, if that's not
possible...could we use an N-build? If N-build...where/how are these
accessed?
Thanks,
Scott
