Folks, The following announcement of our proposed Open VSX Registry working group went out to the Eclipse membership at large: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/eclipse.org-membership-at-large/msg00703.html. This started a two week community review period which will end on April 27. We had set an, admittedly aggressive, goal of getting enough signatures by the middle of the month to get started. While interest and commitment remain high, we have to date two signed agreements in hand. I wanted to let you know that I will be scheduling our initial meeting to seat the Steering Committee and elect a chair the week of May 8, assuming we get at least five signed participation agreements. Please get your signed participation agreements to us (and Eclipse membership applications if needed) in order to participate.
