Eclipse OMR Contributors,
I will be giving an overview of the OMR compiler technology Thursday March 8 at 5pm EST as background for developers interested in creating an A64 code generator. Anyone in this community is welcome to listen in and participate. I expect it will be the first of several introductory sessions as we get deeper into the design and implementation of an A64 code generator.
It will be informal and I encourage it to be interactive with lots of questions. As a guide, I will be using some dusty (yet still relevant) slide decks that describe the overall architecture of Testarossa with a particular focus on the basic functions of the code generator. Future discussions will follow shortly thereafter and dive deeper.
