Re: [mtj-dev] MTJ status?
|
Thank you, Gorkem.
The problem with signing is resolved now (it was just required to switch
off signing of inner JARs) and nightly builds are OK now.
However, it seems that nightly update site is not updated automatically
(it still contain outdated build).
Could you advise me how to propagate results of nightly builds to
http://download.eclipse.org/mtj/updates/nightly/ ?
Also, I'm still do not have any information related to how to make
release build from nightly build.
Could you share this information?
Thanks,
Alex.

Just added all rights to the user aburdukov on Hudson. You should have

ME8 support changes are committed to GIT repo now.
I expect a couple of more commits this week-next week with bug fixes. After
that we can release MTJ.
At the moment there is a problem with nightly build. It fails on signing
phase. It seems either Eclipse signing server is down or there is some
misconfiguration of proxies for MTJ build. Unfortunately, I have only
read-only access to Hudson at the moment and cannot figure out how to
resolve it.
Gorkem, Pranav, could you help with this?
Also, could you provide me access for modification of Hudson configuration
(or at least possibility to run builds manually) and share information how
to promote nightly builds?
Thanks,
Alex.

I think the mtj builds and the update site is still functional... MTJ web
site is MIA, probably due to the git move
The nightly update site is
http://download.eclipse.org/mtj/updates/nightly/
<http://download.eclipse.org/mtj/updates/nightly/>
The builds are on eclipse CBI https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Tycho%20+%20Maven/job/tycho-mtj-nightly/ <https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Tycho%20+%20Maven/job/tycho-mtj-nightly/>
and triggered by changes to the master on git repo. If a build is
successful it is pushed to udpate site.

Hi,
I was recently trying to play with ME8 and I am curious regarding
the current status of MTJ?
I couldn't find a p2 repo online so I tried to compile the version
in the Git repo and install it in Luna. Although the installation
has been seamless, the wizards to create new ME and Midlet
projects seem broken.
I wonder if there are plans to fix MTJ, as I think having good ME
tooling in Eclipse would be really nice :-)
Thanks,
Benjamin.
