We seem to have come up with a fairly simple solution to the 
ecore/ocl::ecore occlusion problem,
but have uncovered a few further nasty aspects of the global package 
registry. Residual discussion
has just been on documenting the nasty aspects.

If you're happy, it would be good to commit soon and take advantage of a 
Hudson up-time interlude.
