Thanks for the PR. We're in the time of finishing the 2.0.0 release, therefore it's better to not be merging anything till it gets out (this should take <2weeks from now). I'm pretty sure we get to this once 2.0.0 gets out so we could backport the fix to 1.6 stream eventually.
