Yes, there is a pom in the folder checked out. I have checked out this project just fine many of times with previous versions of eclipse with m2e, and the subclipse extra. -Tim From: m2e-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:m2e-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Matthew Piggott Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2012 4:12 PM To: Maven Integration for Eclipse users mailing list Subject: Re: [m2e-users] Eclipse Juno how to get Subversion to checkoutmavenprojects Is there a pom in the folder you checked out? If I check out a single project it will check out just fine, but if I go to check out a project with sub-projects it fails. I end up with a directory in my workspace that is labeled maven.xxxxxxx where the xs are a bunch of numbers, but no project in the java workspace. Thanks! Tim All the sites I'm publishing for the extras have their root here: But if you want to try the latest build of something Right Now(tm) then make sure you walk into the right folder. So if you want to try Subversive walk into this folder: And then go pick the latest version like: And use this link in the update manager. I'm still trying to wire in all the dependent sites if they are required using composite sites. So if you want to install Subclipse for example, you need to go install Subclipse first. I'm trying to make this seamless but for those who want to try this stuff now you can play around with the builds I'm publishing. I just started splitting up the extra builds now (maven-archiver, antlr, cxf, plexus, modello). This worked, just had some frustration there it seems the steps I take to get this functionality changes constantly. I just had luck pointing my update manager at http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/integrations/update-site/.

So once again I am trying to figure out how to integrate maven and subversion so I can check out my maven projects in svn as maven projects. This seems to change every time eclipse releases a new version and it is beyond frustrating. So I do the usual stuff get svn plugin installed, and get the m2e plugin installed. Then I go looking for how to integrate the two together so I can get that all so useful choice of checking out code as a maven project. Well when I go to import the m2e connector from the m2e connectors I see nothing. So I try the subversion check out as, and select maven project. This does not work either it asks me for maven project information for a pom, but I already have a pom in the project I am checking out. How do I get back to the functionality that I so miss.
