As kindly requested by http://twitter.com/#!/prapicault (@raffaeleguidi Could you please take time to capture your pain points and drop us a note on http://bit.ly/fxcev7): 

1. Repositories different than maven central (i.e. codehaus, protostuf) could not be indexed
2. Of course dependency search as well did not work with repositories different than maven central
3. Dependencies on the same repositories where not downloaded during the build (but launching maven from the command line did work perfectly)
4. I tried to install IAM as well and the two did not work together - I could manage to get maven work OR eclipse iam build work but not both together (starting from scratch with a new pom and uninstalling m2e did the trick, eventually)
5. I don't like having "advanced options" for pom editing hidden by default and, if I choose to unhide them I would like the choice to be remembered not unhiding them again and again

I'm using a fresh install of eclipse helios with wtp, egit and the github mylyn provider.
